Fabinity is a UK retailer of 3D printers, 3D scanners, CNC machines, laser cutters and the materials that feed them. We are based in London, we ship across the UK, and we are an authorised reseller for the brands we carry - which means a real warranty and real spares, not a grey import.
What we do
Choose good machines, describe them honestly, and support them afterwards.
Buying a fabrication machine is a badly served purchase. The specifications are written for people who already own one, the price is often behind a form, and the honest answer to “will this do what I need?” is buried in a forum thread from three years ago.
So we do three things. We carry a deliberately short list of machines we would put our own name to. We write every specification twice - the manufacturer’s figure, and what that figure means for the thing you are actually trying to make. And when the machine arrives and something is wrong, you call 0208 064 1524 and speak to someone here.
We are not a single-brand shop. Different jobs are won by different machines, and a retailer that only sells one make will always tell you that make is the answer. We add manufacturers as we are satisfied they meet the standard below, and we will tell you when a machine we do not sell is the better fit for you.

Three quite different people buy from a shop like this, and they want opposite things from it.
People starting out
You want to know whether a machine fits on the desk and whether it will actually work on a Sunday afternoon. Every specification on this site is written twice - the figure, and what it means. "250 × 220 × 270 mm" is also "about the size of a shoebox".
People who print for a living
You already know what you need and want to stop being sold to. Full specifications, clear availability, prices with VAT shown both ways, and a checkout that does not ask you to request a call back.
Workshops, studios and schools
You need an invoice, a purchase order, a delivery date you can plan around, and someone who answers the phone when a machine goes down mid-term. Call us and you will get a person, not a queue.
How we choose what to sell
One question decides it: would we still be glad you bought this in two years?
It has to be repairable
Access to documented, compatible spare parts. A machine you cannot fix is a machine you replace, and that is your money, not ours.
The software has to be honest
No cloud-only lock-in on a machine you have bought outright, and no subscription standing between you and your own printer.
It has to survive real work
Not a demo print. Machines we offer are ones used in production somewhere, by someone whose income depends on them.
The manufacturer has to stand behind it
A real warranty, a real support channel and a firmware history that shows the machine is still being looked after.

The catalogue is shorter than it could be. That is the point of it.
We will not hide the price
No "request a quote" wall in front of a figure we already know. If it is on the site, it has a price on it.

We will not invent a specification
Every figure in a specification table comes from the manufacturer's own data. Where we add a plain-English note, it is marked as ours.
